what does it mean

Recommended Posts

In legal jargon, a stipulation usually refers to an agreement between

parties concerning the nature of a fact or proceeding. Without knowing

more about the context of this statement, I would say that a party and the county agreed on something that otherwise could have been contested.

You can check out the extended definition of "stipulation" in FindLaw's Legal Dictionary.
