I was caught stealing from Walmart on Friday. The item came to a little under $13.00. I posted bond for $500. Back in 2011 I was busted and charged with Larceny 3rd degree, item was $83.00 at a Walmart but different locations. I'm 33years of age and in nursing school. What are my chances for a second chance?

Why is it that folks who post online about their criminal activity are so keen to post the names of their victims?

Not really sure what you're talking about.  You told us that you were caught back in 2011, so the current matter is at least your "second chance."  Please clarify what your question means.

Basically what position am I in now?

This article, published by a Michigan law firm, seems to do a good job discussing Michigan shoplifting laws.

One additional point:  If you were shoplifting in 2011 and again in 2019, most folks are going to assume that you were also shoplifting during the intervening time and simply avoided getting caught.
