Workers comp delayed surgery

Recommended Posts

I work for large government contractor who outsources workers comp claims.  I developed trigger finger as a result of my job. I have done the splint and medication treatment recommended by ortho surgeon. He recommended surgery. He told me the WC approval takes weeks. That was three months ago. Is there not a time limit on how long they can make me wait for relief?  I’m being forced to use my other hand which is now developing trigger finger as well.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
