Wrote for no CDL but has CDL

2 posts in this topic

I got a ticket in KY in my personal vehicle. I live in another state. Ticket is written for a class D operators license. I have a class A CDL. The officer told me I could do driving school and have it dismissed. They sent me a notice saying I can do online driving school and have it dismissed. However, when I go to the site it asks if this is for a CDL license? Yes, I have a CDL...but the ticket is not written for a CDL and they offered it to me. It says if I have a CDL I cannot take driving school. I've been told in the past when they write it as non-cdl it's to be "nice". So is he being nice and I can do driving school because ticket is for regular license, or no?
