 flma’s serious health condition—

if an employee was to miss 3 consecutive days and the intitial physician did not have the capacity to treat further but wanted to refer you to see a specialist, will this trigger the serious health condition rule for continued treatment?

I will definitely have to find an experience local attorney to clear that up. Do attorneys take on cases if it’s not in the same city? I want to make sure that my options are open so I can choose one that works for me.

thanks

If what's not in the same city as what?

If you're asking whether an attorney will take on a client who lives and/or works in a city other than where the attorney's office is located, the answer is yes.
