Online School Losing Student's Entire Subject Grade And Accuses Them Of Not Turning In Any Work Or Tests

3 posts in this topic

I have a friend who's online school lost her work and everything for one specific subject. When asked what happed, the school accused my friend of not turning in work. She doesn't know what to do she has some assignments saved into her computer but doesnt know how to prove she did her exams and midterm. What should she do? Should she and her family take legal action?

Well, the obvious would be to speak with her professor and or the Dean of that department/college. Were these submitted via Blackboard or other online portal? Emailed? Either way, there should be a record that the documents were sent. There is nothing to sue over. No laws were broken. You mention a midterm and other exams.

Work with the school (including professors and administrators) to try and rectify the situation.

Her family?  Why would any members of her family have any standing to do anything here?  As far as your friend taking legal action, your post does not indicate that any legal wrong has occurred or that your friend has suffered any damages.
