i lost my job a couple of days ago because i am a felony. But my quetion is this .The company that i worked for sold the company But the new company has this policy that they do not hire felony. But i was already employed with the previise owner . Were do i stand as to keeping my job. And also there are still people there who are felonys as well.

If you're already lost your job that should tell you exactly where you stand on keeping your job. You don't.

 

If you are asking whether the fact that you were employed by the old ownership prior to the new ownership coming in means that they cannot fire you for having a felony record but must continue to employ you, the answer is no, there is no law prohibiting them from firing you. Not in your state.

As cbg mentioned, if the new ownership's policy is that no one with a felony conviction may work with the company, then the new ownership likely has the right to terminate you. To be aware of any remedies you may have, you may wish to speak with a local employment attorney.
