Possible Age discrimination in the workplace

I was a temp at American Express and was verbally told by another employee on my second day on the job that i should find a class that helps older people re-enter the workplace. 

 

I was also told that there would be no time to train me starting the following week and that i did not know a specific program (which i did know) and i was asked if i was screened properly by the agency.

 

The individual knew that i had been out of work for three years but i do not know if she knew my age.

What is your question?

 

It is really unclear what happened here. Was this coworker your manager? Did any tangible employment action take place or did someone just make a comment about you possibly not knowing the software? Are you having difficulty with re-entry to the workforce or getting up to speed on this new job?
