California

I have had a shoulder problem for a few months, diagnosed in January by my doctor as bone spurs in my shoulder. He gave me some n***** and v**** and they were ineffective so my next visit he gave me a steroid injection, which along with the previous tablets have slowly helped my pain get better.A week ago last Thursday at work my supervisor was irritated , and swung his fist at me as he entered the room hitting me in the upper right arm.My pain has gotten a lot worse and I hate to make a big deal out of it but it is really bothering me. I am back up to and at times beyond the dose of v**** that was prescribed.I think I am maybe going to have to go off of work for a couple of weeks too. Any advice?

In future, please put proper spacing after punctuation/between sentences vs. jamming together.

"A week ago last Thursday at work my supervisor was irritated , and swung his fist at me as he entered the room hitting me in the upper right arm."

I hope you called the cops; if not, please do.

"My pain has gotten a lot worse and I hate to make a big deal out of it but it is really bothering me."

So file a report of injury through proper channels (HR?) and file a workers' comp claim.

Ok, this is b*****.

I think the reason you haven't called the cops yet is because he's your supervisor and he can fire you. That's not true.

In California, public policy is a protected class, just like with race.

Calling the cops because your supervisor assaulted you is perfectly within public policy.

Therefore, if he fires you, you have a claim against him in state court (not federal court, but then again, state court is much cheaper, anyway!).

Look it up.
