  1. I have an ongoing CPS case against my ex who is the mother of my daughter. She was accused of neglect. CPS is apparently not wanting to release custody of my daughter to me due to my past record. However, my ex has just been sentenced 90 days for the adjudication of guilt in a theft charge that she has been dealing with since 2015. seeing that she has not been able to comply with the family service plan what are my chances of regaining custody of my daughter?

  4. Hi im Walt Noland from Jacksonville Fl,i need help & was hoping to get some advice.I need to know if i can sue my current employer for not sticking to our agreement and for not paying me what he promised to pay me verbally as well as in the contract

So my current employer promised me (in writtin contract) that if i quit my job (the job  where i worked for 4 years, prior to the job i have now) & come to work for him,as a kitchen mng,he promised that  not only would he match the salary they used to pay me,but that he would pay me $50 more on each check,& that he understands that its an inconvenience to switch jobs  so he would  make sure to pay me a little more than my old job did,i was getting $36.000 a year at my previous job,so he promised to pay me between $38.000-$42.000 a year(i have that promise in writting). He told me that instead of paying me a flat-out salary like I used to get, that he would pay me hourly, but that's only because his accountant advised him to pay anyone wholl be working more then 40 hours each week,  so that legally everything & everyone would be covered,so he told me that he would pay me $12 an hour which would automatically turn to $18 an hour  after 40 hours and he guaranteed that I would have between 55 to 60 hours every week,& once again i have all this in writting. So I decided to take the job even though my wife was really skeptical cause of the way  he was going to pay me, but I assured her that not only did i have his verbal guarantee and promises, but i also had him put it all in a written contract. And once again i told him my concerns & he promised me that no matter if the business is slow,or food cost is high, it would not effect my pay,& that i should just think of it as getting a salary of around $1,650 before taxes taken out, every two weeks.Anyway so now I've been at Village bread for going on 6 months he never kept his promise of paying me a little more than I was getting paid at my prior job and on top of that he is now staking away most of my overtime hours it started with two hours here in 3 hours there and now getting about 82 hours on my check instead of 120 hours so his promise to pay me $1,600 every two weeks went to about $900 every two weeks he lied he completely screwed me and my family and when I bring this up to him he tries to intimidate me by slamming his fist on the table and yelling at me and telling me if I'd there to bring up what he promised or the contract then I can clock out and leave. Can i sue him for not paying me what he promised

  6. Greetings,

You provided my with some solid information regarding our Lease / Utilities situation....If you have the time to consider and respond to another layer of this situation I would appreciate it.

The home (the rental) was initially a contingency sale....a purchase price was agreed to and earnest money was put down ($1,000). The contingency was the sale of the buyers home, and eventually their home sold, and they should have moved toward applying for a loan for the purchase of the house. However, they did not inform us of the sale of their home (I did my period search to their listing agent to be sure, and discovered it sold in June 2016.) I did not discover the sale of their home until mid July 2016, so I call them and they said they would not be able to continue with the purchase due to financial difficulties. According the the state of Mn. earnest is returned to buyers only if they are declined for a loan, or the sale of their home does not occur. The buyers did not show proof of being declined for a loan, only stating they could not afford it, therefore the earnest money should go the the sellers.

In addition, by not informing us to the sale of their home they broke the contingency agreement and held the home hostage during a period of time we could have tried to sell it. This breach should also been a reason why the earnest money come back to the sellers.

We lost earnest money and the potential to sell.

  7. I have been accused of having a pet in my apartment, and given a lease violation and a notice to vacate. There is no documentation or evidence of this ever happening.

    What are my rights?

  8. I am thinking of investing in rental property.  If I buy the property and get a mortgage in my name, but have an LLC collect all the rent and pay for all operations on the property in a separate bank account, can the tennant still go after my personal assets in a lawsuit involving the property?

Heart of the question is:  What asset protection do i have in this scenario and what would i gain if instead the LLC borrowed the money for teh property with a commercial loan?

I can indeed call you ignorant. In fact, I did exactly that. Apparently, however, you're not entirely clear on the meaning of the word. Otherwise, you wouldn't take offense at it. And no, I don't "know it all." I'm ignorant about a great number of things and have no problem admitting it. Lighten up.
