  1. I did ask them why it was needed but never received an answer, this is why I am asking. Also this is an agent for the other party involved not my insurer
  2. My stepson was involved in an accident in my vehicle but was not at fault. The insurance agency handling the claim wanted me to sign a blank Power of Attorney, and send my title to them unsigned. I finally was able to get them to let me completely fill out the Power of Attorney however I'm not sure why they want me to send my title unsigned. Can anyone explain why they needed a Power of Attorney form if I hold the physical copy of my title and why I don't need to sign it?
