  1. I'm looking for a published resource that states the definition (of the term as used in law) clearly and explicitly. I won't trouble you further.
  2. That's not ' conspiracy theory' in law; that's the popular usage of the term. 'Conspiracy theory' in law is a case theory that asserts a conspiracy. In popular usage, something is called a 'conspiracy theory' as a dismissive term. In law, it's something offered by a litigant to a trier of fact. Try reading the question more carefully.
