  1. hit from behind, minor damage to vehicle. Other driver did not have proof of insurance. The investigating officer did not cite the driver, stated that the accused told them his grandmother had the insurance on his car in her name. Turned case over to Farmers Insurance claims. Accident was in May 2015, they called back in spring of 2016, said they couldn't contact the accused or his grandmother, she would have to handle things on her own by taking him to small claims court, said they did not have the authority to pursue the case any further. Could not find the accused, therefore couldn't take to court. paye the 500.00 deductible, they fixed the car then raised her premium another 33.00. Can i sue Farmers in court?
