  1. No. He cannot testify the light. But he did see cars were turning eastbound, and there were no cars driving northbound and southbound. Do you mean the insurance company won't take his testimony, but I can sue the other driver in a small claim court with the witness?
  2. We have posted an ad on Craigslist. Hopefully, someone will respond to us. Today, I went to the scene, and found a witness who was dumping trash at the corner that time. He did notice what the traffic was. But he could not catch the moment light, as he looked up after heard the wreck. Will his statement help? His description matches mine. If the other party describes differently, will that prove the other party is lying? and therefore, he ran a red light?
  3. Thank you for your story. I do appreciate your input. Hopefully, I will be as lucky as you, and find a witness.
  4. Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that.
  5. Thank you. I have read them through. It helps a lot.
  6. Thank you for your reply. Do you mean even if I was on green arrow, I have a duty to yield to oncoming traffic? His car was on the right lane of his traffic, while my car was on the left lane of double turn lanes. There was little chance I would see his car coming out all of sudden in this case. Find witnesses probably is the only option?
  7. Last Wednesday, some car ran red light and hit me when I was turning left on green arrow. There were 2 cars before me when we were waiting for the traffic lights changing. The right front part of my car was damaged. The other party's insurance company sent damage estimator yesterday, and said my car is totaled. Today, they phoned me they deny the liability as there is no witness and the other driver said he was running yellow light. When I was hit, my baby cried all of sudden. The first thing I did was to check the baby. The other driver said sorry to me, and said something blocked his vision. And then he called 911. Fire engine came very quickly, and transferred everything out of the scene. So I could not get a chance to ask for a witness's contact, even though some drivers offered to be witnesses. Now the other driver said he was running yellow light, and his insurance company denies the liability. What I can do? How could people make such a car accident, and walked away?
