  1. I work in nevada in a food establishment. Actually, a chocolate store that includes duties involving going through an employee dining room kitchen and steakhouse kitchen to get product from opening closeing and general mid-day refilling procedures. We also have a sink that often splashes water on the floor and serve ice cream that sometimes drips on the floor. My company just enforced a change in uniform which is high heeled shoes. Am I the only one that thinks this is not the brightest idea? I don't want to get in trouble, but I don 't want to get hurt either. What should I do?
  2. Does anyone know how nevada uniform enforcement works? I have bought suits for work only to have them put me where uniforms are provided, but now I have to buy suitable make-up(certain shades), black stockings and they are changing the footwear standards almost every month! I can't afford to keep buying shoes at the drop of a hat no less. They tell us one day and expect it the next day, or else we get written up and sent home. Shouldn't there be a standard uniform enforced? How much do I have to pay to work?!?!?!

    I work as a cashier in las vegas and when I work graveyard shifts I am the only one working from 10pm-6am. Am I entitled a break of some sort?
  4. Is it legal in Nevada for an employer to suspend a cashier for doing a return incorrectly and hold them responsible for the refund amount by telling them to pay it back out of their pocket in order to continue employment?
