  1. I have to live there because I lost a great job due to 20+ hospital, doctor and ER visits. I have to have my son on a breathing treatment 5 times a day/ kinda hard to keep a job. I left my abusive husband and had to move to a subsidized apartment (that means hud pays a big portion of the rent) according to my current income which is barely anything. I have no family within 800 miles. I cant bring me and my 4 children to stay with friends, there is no room. My ex husband moved to Texas 1yr ago. IM STUCK here or of course I would not live here!!!!! They should have put us in another apt. I've made complaints to HUD,VDHA and my apt management. I don't and my children don't deserve to this. I could have afford to move out if I did not loose my job. I cant legals move a family of 5 in a 2 BD apt, I would have to have 3bd and in VA the average cost for that is 1200. I have no income, tell me how I can move???? Sorry I accidently posted this twice. Thanks for the heartless, unhelpful comments. Just blame it on the mother, is that your solution? My sons life is endangered and nobody will help me or even give me helpful advice. I ve been trying to get a solution to this problems for several months
  2. I have over 25,000 in medical cost due to the renovations, so I posted this to find out if I should file a personal injury suit or landlord/tentant lawsuit. I've been sent back and forth between both types of lawyers. I thought I could get some good advise. IDK
  3. My 9 year old son has had several asthma attacks due to renovations being down in my apt. 2 doctors have wrote letters to my apt management stating my son has severe respiratory disease and that there renovation were direct causes of several asthma attacks. he has been to the ER or urgent care 15 times and counting. they are still doing renovations while we live here with no prior notice. they let themselves in. I have 4 children(ages 3,6,8,10) ,all of which have received injuries or illness due to chemical and nails, glue, tools and stables left behind. this has been going on for 8 months and i have complained several times. I've also had to rent motels and drive out of town with 4 children, during the school year to have a safe place for my children during certain renovations. I have had several valuables broken by contractors during this period too. please help me. they are completely renovating while we live here. i scared for my children, 2 have asthma. i have asthma also and have been in the ER twice. My son has had to use max doses of medication 4-5x a day on a breathing nebulizations + inhalers and steriods , costing over 1,000 a month!
