  1. apparently the items consist of a camera and computer monitor, printer, stuff of that nature
  2. In the state of Arizona if charges are dropped / dismissed or if a person is found innocent of charges, does the property that was taken as potential evidence get returned to person?
  3. Does anyone have knowledge of whether or not in the state of Arizona, a non operational vehicle must carry insurance?
  4. I am a diabetic and on an insulin pump. On occasion my blood sugar has dropped dangerously low, so low in fact that I have blacked out. In October it had dropped very low and and I don't remember putting on my shoes and leaving my house. I don't remember getting into my truck and driving down the road! I don't remember anything until which time I went off the road and rolled my truck . Thank God that no one was injured and the only damage was to my truck which now sits inoperable on the side of my house as a constant reminder of what I have no memory of happening. A few days after the accident I received a ticket and a summons to appear in court for no mandatory insurance. When I went to appear in court the court clerk told me that I would have to provide proof of insurance and the fine would be reduced from $900 down to $300. I told the clerk that the vehicle is inoperable and would be for quite some time and asked if I would still be required to get the insurance. She then proceeded to inform me that I not only needed to get a policy but it needed to be a policy for no less than months of coverage. I don't understand why I have to provide a 6 month policy let alone any policy if the vehicle is not operational and won't be for quite sometime and I am no longer driving . Does anyone know why or what I can do? Oh I am a resident of Arizona (in case that would be useful information to have) Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to this post.

  6. Oops I forgot to mention that this happened in the state of Arizona
  7. Here is the scenario driver pulled over for moving violation. Officer never asks driver anything but goes directly to passenger (Officer has previous knoweldge of passenger) Passenger has bench warrent for suspension of license/fines unpaid. Officer notices passenger has something in his mouth. officer grabs passenger around throat and begins choking passenger telling him to spit what ever is in mouth out Passenger can't because officers grip on throat too tight and passenger can't breath passenger tries to get officers hands off of his throat officer is pushing passenger by his grip around passengers throat along the length of vehicle and get to the end of the vehicle where passenger loses footing and subsequently falls to ground while officer still has tight grip around passengers throat and goes down too Passenger gets mouth open and tells officer that he (the passenger) gives up, passenger puts hands above head in surrender position (officers hands are still gripped around passengers throat) Officer smiles at passenger and releases hands from passengers throat and grabs taser weapon and tasers passenger not once but twice. Can anyone tell me if they see anything wrong with this scenario? And if there is recourse for passenger? If you respond, Please do not make me feel stupid for asking the question or correct my spelling and punctuation. I appreciate all advise or knoweldge pertaining to my question ! Thank you

    desert dwelling

I live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where the heat has gotten up to 133 degrees before! Thankfully not this summer! It has reacher 122 degrees though. Today we have a heat advisory in effect until 8pm tonight! If you live in the desert you know that you can not live here without air conditioning! We have to pay extremely high electric bills in the summer to keep cool but thankfully the summer heat is only for a few months! BUT!!.... if you are a renter and you have an selfish, self centered, landlord that is a cheap ass, you suffer through the summer and you are like me! Last summer our air conditioner started to exhibit signs that it was on its last leg and sure enough.... it died! We notified the landlord and never heard anything in response ! That is until the beginning of this summer when a repairman arrived to "fix" the unit. We were relieved to see the repairman so we kept our mouths shut. Well we actually thought that he was there to replace the ac unit only to discover a few weeks after he was there , that no he didn't replace the until he only rigged the existing until and we realized that because it stopped working ! It got to be well over 100 degrees in our home and we almost lost one of our pets (not lost , it almost died) . We made numerous calls to the landlord and kept getting either his answering machine or when we actually talked to him he would tell us that the repair guy was on his way out to us, when in fact he didn't show up for 5 days! So.... for 5 days we had no ac and like I said it was over 100 degrees inside our house! Well they did arrive and "rigged" the until again! It worked for less than a week and went out again! Again the ordeal of phone tag and days later a repairman arrives to "rig" the unit and this time it worked for a whole day! Now no one is answering our calls! This is ridiculous to say the least! We live in a mobile home and the fact that they keep "rigging" the unit has me scared to death of a fire! When we run our microwave and the washing machine we blow a fuse this happens frequently! We obviously try not to have them run at the same time but if we turn on a light and either one is running we blow a fuse! We rented the place with 2 functioning bathrooms and by week 2 only the toilet works in the main bathroom! We have been waiting 2 years for them to fix that! The obvious answer would be to move right... well that is actually not an option at this time! The economy is terrible here as is everywhere right now and my husbands job situation is very unstable at this time as he works in construction and the building has all but come to a stand still here. What I want to know is .... do we have any legal recourse here? Is there anything we can do, other than move, to get this ass of a landlord to get this right? I appreciate any and all advise! Thank You
