i was arrested while on probation. my case was withdrawn. i had a court date to see my sentencing judge from the probation. at court my case was continued until april 5th. my public defender said the judge is going to her testimoy from the arresting officers from the case that was beat. he said it was a daisy case. is this double jepordy or what how can they use the case that was withdrawn against me ?

It's not double jeopardy because it's two different cases--one the basic charge which was withdrawn and one the prior conviction for which you are alleged to have violated probation by committing the basic charge. You don't have to be charged or convicted of the new crime in order for that crime to serve as a basis to find you violated the terms of your probation.
