FIRING AFTER WORKPLACE INJURY

AFTER I HAD AN INJURY IN MY WORKPLACE (UNDER 50 EMPLOYEES) AND HAD TO HAVE SURGERY ON MY FINGER I DECEIDED TO TAKE OUT A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE COMPANY BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT THE SAW I WAS WORKING ON WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, I WAS THEN TERMINATED BY THE COMPANY. I HAVE ONLY WORKED THERE FOR FOUR MONTHS. DO THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THAT?
