Question from LeprechanNov-6
An employer in the state of Michigan is an "At Will" employer who terminates an employee who has had no warnings in his/her file. Can the employer demand the employee sign a document stating the employee will not sue the employer for any reason. And, hold final pay and 401K funds until said document is signed?

"Can the employer demand the employee sign a document stating the employee will not sue the employer for any reason."

Sure (evidently, it *has* done this), but you don't have to sign it.

File a wage claim with the state labor dept.  If plan administrator refuses to send out required paperwork with regard to 401k, then you file a complaint with the federal DOL.
