Question from joekarNov-4
I work for mccall-donnelly schools 421. Recently got injured at work. I have been out for about six weeks now.  A couple of weeks ago my supervisor told me that the other employees are mad at me for not being at work. He went on vacation for two weeks after he told me. I have to turn in my worker comp check to the district office. When i got there, there was one of my coworkers and i said hi. He did not respond for about thirty seconds. What he said surprised me. He told me that i was f__king everybody over. There was know one at the office to her him. My wife and son were in the van and they herd him. My wife told him do not talk to him that why and how do you think you are. He replied, i do not know who your are but if you do not shout up I will nock you f__king head off. There is a little more to this. He opened the door to the office so I leave my check with them. Then he told me that everybody wants to kick my ass. I field a police report. I am afraid to go back to work under this circumstances. Also should have my supervisor talk to the other custodians be for going on his vacation because he new about there feelings?                                  thank you for your time.

In future, please don't post in all bold-faced type.  Also, don't name names here (not something the reader would find meaningful anyway, and may identify you to someone if they decided to search for stuff on the internet about the place).

"A couple of weeks ago my supervisor told me that the other employees are mad at me for not being at work."

Obviously, not helpful for a supervisor to share such info even if true.  Doesn't make it unlawful.

"I have to turn in my worker comp check to the district office."

Sorry, but do you mean $$$$.  Why?

All you can do is complain to the human resources/personnel dept. of the school about the behavior of the supervisor sharing unhelpful info and the way the co-worker acted.  Nasty remarks aren't automatically unlawful.

"I am afraid to go back to work under this circumstances."

Don't know what to tell you, but someone saying something and doing something are two entirely different things.  Ask for a restraining order if you really feel threatened.

"Also should have my supervisor talk to the other custodians be for going on his vacation because he new about there feelings?"

This wouldn't involve a legal issue.
