Question from sshanchuckNov-4

To whom it may concern

I'm a truck driver that is on salary. I make 27.68 an hour. I work six day a week 70 hours with no
overtime,  I'm only paid for 40 hours a week. Is that legal?

While someone's job title isn't indicative of whether they are exempt or non-exempt, I'd say you're probably non-exempt and entitled to overtime.  (I trust you aren't a freelancer or contractor but a bona fide employee.)  Discuss exactly what you do for a living with the state labor dept. or the nearest federal DOL wage-hour division office and they should let you know if you're non-exempt and whether you should be filing a wage claim.
