i was walking down the road with my friend.not holding enything or doin enything else.the cops came up to use and searched us.they found a 9 inch blade on me.

is it legal for police to search minors without parents concent?

Cops can indeed search a minor without the consent of the minor's parents. However, just like the search of an adult, the cops need to have either the minor's consent, a search warrant, or some circumstance must exist to allow for an exception to the search warrant requirement. If you gave consent for the search, the search is good. If you did not give consent for the search and you are now being charged with a crime, see a defense attorney to find out if the evidence from the search can be suppressed.
