Question from daisy_08Nov-9
I never been married, my daughter is 18mnths now, dont know her father and her father have not given me support but until the child support was ordered he filed a case for half custody. I want her father to be part of but what I dont want him to have half custody just because I've experienced him being harsh on kids by spanking leaving marks before. once around 5am I caught him holding my 18mnth against the AC with no clothes on when she was 3wks old because she wouldn't stop crying. I didn't call the cops because he has a federal job(full time) and he goes to college full time. I cant be a harsh person, but there were other incidents that occurred of him threatening my family, stalking and many people being witness at the day care his daughter go to as well that they don't want him there. There is one police report against him and he's not a criminal never been arrested has his 1Bdrm apartment but no blood members in our state. my point is I know the judge wants evidence and I'm wondering how can I proof all these incidents and what are his chances of getting half custody? I've offered him many times to see her and I have plans to move out of the state after I graduate.

What?!?!  You should have called the police...  The fact that he has a federal job has no bearing against the fact that he was abusing your child.
