Question from audreysmommyNov-4
The father of my daughter lives in Colorado and I live in Maryland (both military.)  Is there a different proceedure for this type of situation?  Do I have to file in Colorado or in Maryland, can I choose?  How does the court look at military cases when the parents live in different states (I want full custody.)  Although he hasnt been there, can being stationed in another state be an excuse?  What happens when I get out of the military (four months?)

"Is there a different proceedure for this type of situation?"

Different than what?

"Do I have to file in Colorado or in Maryland, can I choose?"

File for what?  Divorce?  Child custody/visitation/support?  Something else?

"How does the court look at military cases when the parents live in different states (I want full custody.)"

Courts determine custody based on what is in the child(ren)'s best interests.  People often use terms like "full custody" without really knowing what they mean.  What exactly do you mean by it?

"Although he hasnt been there, can being stationed in another state be an excuse?"

Hasn't been where?  An excuse for what?

"What happens when I get out of the military (four months?)"

Not really sure what you're asking here.
