If I sign my name when my child was born at the hospital but I dont really know if I am the father do I have to pay child support with out knowing if he is mine?

Sign your name on what?  If you're saying that you signed some sort of acknowledgment of paternity without some degree of certainty that you are, in fact, the father, why the hell would you do that?  And what state are you in?
