Question from cewest68Nov-2
Is it possible to have an attorney work as the mediator between a spouse and the men/women the other spouse has been having affairs with prior to the other spouse filing for a divorce or while the other spouse is contemplating divorce?

If you want therapy, consult a therapist.  If you want a divorce, talk to an attorney.  Attorneys aren't in the business of providing that type of family/marriage counseling.

In the state I live in most of the divorce cases are going to mediation. This was the purpose of the question. If I wanted to be insulted I would have simply went to family and other unconcerned citizens. Thank you for your rudeness.

What exactly is it that you want to mediate?  Certainly, most mediators are attorneys, and, in the abstract, just about anything is possible.  Keep in mind that only seven states still recognize claims for alienation of affection.
