Does anyone know what a "1ST AMENDED INTERIM EXPARTE/PROTECTION PETITION" is? How is this different than a regular protection petition. I've never heard of this before. Thanks.

The title of the petition doesn't tell me much, and since I don't even know in what state this is taking place, I cannot comment on what it is. Get a copy of the full petition and read it. That's the best way to see what what's going on.
