My son lives in an apartment complex that has 12 apts per buildinThey provide water and gas as per the lease agreement. On sunday there was a notice on the building entrance that says....The last water bill for this building was unusually high. Please contact the office if you have any of the following...Dripping faucets..Toilet running..Leaking pipes Then on the side handwritten is No more water on Sundays until we get answers! And yes they did shut off the water on sunday!! The lease does not state that there is a limit on consumption of water or gas only that it is provided. How can they punish all tenants for this and what course should he take?He lives in Joliet IL

You may want to contact the Illinois Attorney General's Office to address your son's concerns about the water being shut off.
