I was terminated about a week ago because my employer said we have to go buy a prepaid cell phone to use for business purposes. the phone had to be bought with our personal money. i was rehired an hour and a half after i was fired because my fiance had a talk with my supervisor explaining to him we were going to consult a lawyer on this matter. We are poor and cannot afford to buy the phone. can my employer legally fire me for this?
wrongful termination

You may want to visit the Employment Law Center and read Losing a Job as a good resource to learn more about your rights as an employee.
