My Mother passed in 2007, trustee did not publish a creditor's notice for her until my Father passed this past year is the time frame legal? Or did statute of limitations for Mom's creditors run out? This is in Michigan

In order to determine whether something is or isn't legal, we obviously need to know what the applicable law is, and laws on this sort of thing vary from state to state.
That said, I know of no law in any state that would make it not legal to publish a creditor's notice long after someone's date of death.
