been working for a company for seven years and every year we have recived a christmas bonus. can they just quit giving them out

In New York State, unless there is a contractual relationship of some time that guarantees the bonus, the employer can quit giving the bonuses at any time.

Do you have an employment contract with your employer that states a Christmas bonus should be given?
