Hi
my question is when asking for a copy of a police report can I also get a copy of the search warrant and a list of items seized in the search? I did hear that I may be refused a copy of the police report but when I do ask I need to know if I may ask for these other reports without looking stupid.
question re: police reports and such

Depends upon state law. Generally, search warrants are lodged with the court.

You're free to ask for anything you like. I wouldn't expect you'd look stupid, but I suppose that's entirely in your control. I would think the more relevant question would be whether there is any possibility that the cops will give you any of this, but that will depend on the laws of your unidentified state and on the relevant facts (most particularly, whether there is still an investigation pending).

What state is this matter concerning?
