My ex was ordered to sign the land title deed to the house because it was awarded to me. It's been 3 yrs since the final and he was suppose to do it within 30 day's of the divorce and he still hasn't done it and I've asked him to do so and he still won't do it. What can I do? I can't refinance until he does. I"m lost.

You file a contempt motion in the divorce case.  Before doing that, I'd pay local counsel to send him a nasty note demand noting that if you must file a contempt motion, you'll be asking the court to order him to pay the legal fees associated with that course of action (and, given the givens, it may well award them to you).

And the reason you haven't done anything about this for the last three years is. . . ?

Anyway, your recourse is to seek to have your ex held in contempt for failing to do what the court ordered him to do.  Consult with local counsel and hope that there are no statute of limitations issues as a result of your failure to address this earlier.

pg 1067 I found out that he didn't sign it after I went to refinance the house. He was suppose to do it on his own. I wasn't the one order to baby sit him. He is doing this inspite of me getting the house in the divorce. I'll find out next wk about what I have to do to settle this. Thanks
