I bought a car from a buy here pay here dealer. I knew it was a mistake but I needed a car. When I bought the car the dealer gave me a warranty, which I had to end up using. But when i called the warranty place they had none of my information. I then found out that the dealer never really gave me the warranty. But he did sign the paper saying he was going to. Is that illegal in any way? He also had different sale prices on the two different purchase papers, meaning the dealers personal one and the states . Is this not fraud? Long story short is i totalled the car and while I do think its fair to give them market price because it is still their vehicle, i dont think I should have to pay the balance because they did not follow up on a contract. Is there a way out of this? Please help me!
