Hi, I reside in NM and am starting a franchise whose services will be performed entirely in CO. I'm trying to work out the implications of where the business address is. Since I won't necessarily set up a physical office or shop (equipment needed for the service is initially to be stored at employees' residences in CO) it would seem to be most convenient to have the business a NM one. Any reason why I shouldn't? Thanks.

I would highly suggest you consult with a local New Mexico Business Organizations Lawyer before starting such a franchise operation.
