me and my boyfriend cancled on our lease 3 months early. we cleaned up the place and everythig was fine. the apartment complex told us if we break our lease we have to pay 3 months rent and we dont get out security deposit back, which was fine with us. comes to find out we herd around that "by law'" while we are paying them for the next three months, even though were not living there, " they cannot rent out that aprtment to anyone while we are still paying them"  wanted to know if this was true, if it is, how do we get proof? thank you  state of missouri
