I was recently sentenced to 15 weekends in jail for two driving while revoked.  Although, the courts and others found this to be a fair sentence, I have had a hard time on my weekends thus far.  I have no criminal record, just traffic violations.  I have two jobs and have never spent time in jail before this.  I have served four of my 15 weekends and have found it very difficult.  Are there any other options I may pursue instead of finishing these weekends?  Is community service an option?  Anything else?

You can serve the sentence straight time.  If the court was inclined to give you community service in lieu of jail time, it would have done that in the first place.  The court did not have to allow you to serve your sentence on weekends in the first place.
