Question from crazymom_5703Oct-14
My sister works under the table for a lady that only pays her $20.00 a day.. She works four to eight hours a day, no lunch break or any kind of break.  She is dietabetic and had heart surgery and pace maker put in her. She is homeless and can't find a job. Social Sercurity keeps turning her down, but she needs to live and nobody is giving her a chance. What can I do about the person she is working for now.  She does go to the hospital at least twice a month for stress.

"She works four to eight hours a day, no lunch break or any kind of break."

Technically speaking, that's not her biggest problem (few states mandate any kind of break by law).

As for your sister being homeless, why isn't she living with you?  (Or are you homeless as well?)  Your sister needs to avail herself of local social services assistance and charitable organizations.  She's free to report the employer to the state labor dept. as to not making min. wage.
